ACADEMIC ADVISING

Proper advising is critical to the gaining the most from college experience. Advisors possess an in-depth understanding of the academic processes and policies that sometimes seem difficult to comprehend for the new or returning student. Advisors can save you a great deal of grief and money by ensuring that your course selection fits the degree program that you have selected. They can also provide you with inside tips and information that will make your academic career smoother and therefore more fun. They will not always know the answer off their cuff, however they will know who to talk to and gain the proper information. At MTEC we have two on staff advisors who have particular areas of expertise.
